Onzane platform · Connected spaces

Community home automation.
The building is part of Onzane too.

Connect devices, sensors and actuators with the people, permissions and facilities in the community to monitor and control shared spaces from one platform.

A shared technology layer

From physical space
to the digital community.

Onzane provides the context a home-automation installation usually lacks: who acts, on which element, with which permission and what happened next.

Residential building with connected shared facilities
Every facility keeps its context within the community.

A responsive community

Connect the spaces that need control.

The installation adapts to the building. It can start with a single point and expand when the community needs to control more elements.

  1. 01
    Doors and access points

Operate entrances, garages, pools and restricted areas using permissions defined in Onzane.

  2. 02
    Lighting and equipment

Switch or schedule compatible circuits and mechanisms.

  3. 03
    Sensors and monitoring

Receive states and measurements to understand what is happening in a facility.

  4. 04
    Efficiency and consumption

Data and rules that help avoid unnecessary use and understand shared resources.

Open, progressive technology

Connected devices.
A platform that can grow.

Onzane currently integrates with Shelly equipment to operate circuits and mechanisms. The architecture can incorporate new technologies as they are validated.

01Compact Shelly relay compatible with Onzane

Compact relays

Connect existing mechanisms where the panel or installation point has the required space and connectivity.

02Shelly Pro relay for an electrical panel

Electrical-panel equipment

Devices for professional installations, with organised mounting and circuit control.

03Multi-channel Shelly Pro controller

Multiple channels

One device can manage several circuits or elements when the installation design allows it.

An installation with context

Control from the app and oversight from the panel.

A device does not operate in isolation. Onzane relates it to the community, facility, authorised people and usage history.

For residents
Simple actions in the app when the community has granted permission.
For staff
Operational control of facilities linked to their tasks and responsibilities.
For managers
Configuration, permissions, oversight and activity review from the panel.
With traceability
Record the element, person, time and outcome whenever the integration supports it.
Control of a shared facility from the Onzane app
Each action can respond to a permission and be recorded.

Assisted implementation

First we understand the installation.
Then we connect it.

Every building has different panels, networks, mechanisms and needs. Community home automation therefore requires technical review, configuration and testing in the real space.

  1. 01Assess

Identify the objective, spaces and existing installation.

  2. 02Design

Define equipment, connectivity and operating method.

  3. 03Install

Coordinate physical work with professionals when required.

  4. 04Configure

Relate devices, facilities, people and permissions.

  5. 05Validate

Test operation and support initial use.

Two different layers

Home automation connects spaces. Process automation connects work.

A device can execute a physical action within a workflow, but Onzane also automates tasks, alerts and operations that require no installed equipment.

Explore process automation

Before connecting

Questions about community home automation.

Feasibility depends on the building, connectivity and the element to control.

01Can it be installed in an existing community?

Yes. Many projects can use existing installations, but panels, mechanisms, connectivity and technical requirements must first be reviewed.

02Must the whole community be connected at once?

No. You can start with one door, circuit or facility and expand the scope later.

03Which devices does Onzane currently use?

Onzane currently integrates with Shelly equipment for selected operating and control scenarios. Each device is chosen for the installation.

04Is home automation the same as access control?

No. Access control manages identities, permissions and entries. Home automation is a broader layer that can also operate lighting, equipment, sensors and other facilities.

05Is home automation the same as process automation?

No. Home automation connects Onzane to physical elements. Process automation creates rules, tasks, alerts and workflows even when no device is involved.

06Who carries out the installation?

It depends on the project. Onzane defines and configures the integration and can coordinate with trusted installers or professionals for the necessary physical work.
